MarketWarrior and Windows Vista
Windows Vista has a feature named "User Account Control" (UAC). This UAC
feature can prevent MarketWarrior from connecting to eSignal. In some cases the
problem can be solved by simply turning off the UAC. In other casses the
eSignal and MarketWarrior program must be uninstalled and reinstalled while the
UAC is off. Below are the step by step instructions for turning off the UAC.

Part 1: Disable the Windows Vista
UAC
Step 1) Click the bottom left
Windows icon to pop up the Windows controls. In the bottom edit box type
"MSCONFIG" and press enter. This will start the System Configuration program.
Step
2) Select the Tools tab. On the Tools tab scroll down and find
"Disable UAC". Select the item Disable UAC and click the Launch button.
Step 3
) When you click the Launch button above a new window will appear.
This is a simple command line window that will display the status of the
Disable UAC operation. Across the top of the window you will see the message
"The Operation Completed Successfully" when you see this message you can click
the red X in the upper right corner and close this window.
Step 4)
Next click OK on the System Configuration dialog box.
Step 5)
Restart Your Computer. To run Windows with the new settings Windows must
restart.
Part 2: Run eSignal and
Then Run MarketWarriorStep 6
) On your desktop you should see the eSignal program icon. Do a
right mouse click on this icon and select "Run as Administrator" from the
Context menu.

7 ) Run the eSignal charting program until you see the 2 boxes in
the bottom right corner turn green and say OK.
Step 8 ) Do a right
mouse click on the MarketWarrior 4.4 icon and select "Run as Administrator"
from the Context menu.
Step 9 ) When MarketWarrior starts click the
"Connect eSignal" button.
Step 10)
MarketWarrior will now be able to connect to eSignal. After MarketWarrior shows
that it is connected to eSignal as seen below click OK. Read the normal help
file for program usage.
