MarketWarrior Regression Trendline
MarketWarrior can draw a Regression Line. The start and end
prices for the Regression Line are calculated based on a linear regression of
the prices covered by the regression Line. A linear regression of the price
will try to locate the center of the price data so the Regression Line will
often look like it is drawn right through the center of the price data. The
Regression Line of the chart below shows the Angular Degree as the middle
label. In this case the Regression Line is sloping downward at a -17.808 degree
angle.
The next chart shows a Regression Line drawn on a gold chart. The middle label has been set to show the calendar days covered by the Regression Line. The Regression Line has labels that can be set for the end points of the line and the middle of the line.
